How to play Klondike Solitaire
The familiar seven-column patience game often simply called Solitaire.

Objective
Move all cards to four suit foundations in ascending order from ace to king.
Setup

Deal seven tableau columns with one card in the first, two in the second, through seven in the last.

Turn only each column's top card face up. The remainder forms the stock.
How play works

Build tableau columns downward in alternating colors and move complete valid sequences.

Place aces on foundations and build each suit upward.

Turn stock cards one or three at a time under the chosen rule.
Scoring and winning

The game is won when all 52 cards reach the foundations.

For scoring play, agree on Vegas or standard computer scoring before the deal.

Only kings or king-led sequences may fill empty tableau spaces.
