A shedding game where an eight changes the current suit.
- Players
- 2–7
- Cards
- 52 cards
- Time
- 10–25 minutes
Objective
Be the first player to discard every card.

How play works
- 1

An eight may be played at any time and its player names the next suit.

Scoring and winning
- 1
The winner scores cards left in opponents' hands, commonly 50 for eights, 10 for faces, and pip value for others.
- 2
Play to an agreed target or treat each hand separately.
Rules to settle before play
- 1
Resolve a starting eight by returning it to the pack or naming a starting suit.
- 2
State draw rules before play.
